Whats BIKE ‘N’ HIKE????

Simply hire a bike from Kilkenny cycling tours and cycle 10 Km to the scenic, picturesque village of Bennettsbridge. While you are there you can have some lunch and look around Nicolas Mosse’s famous pottery workshop and store. You can leave your bike at Mosse’s and hike back 10 Km on the newly developed Nore Valley walk. The cycle takes approx 45 mins and the hike takes 2hrs so its a really good enviromentaly friendly way to spend a morning or afternoon. We look forward to meeting you this summer

We at Kilkenny Cycling Tours are now delivering a Cycling Road Safety Training Programme to children in the South East of the country. As Cycling popularity is on the increase, and there are limited cycle lanes in place, it is vitally important that children and young people are familiar with safety guidelines and regulations before embarking on their journeys.

The Programme we deliver is called “BIKESTART” and focuses on bike safety, skills and maintainance. It is delivered over 6 weeks with the 1st lesson in the class room and the rest on the school yard. For more information have a look at our website www.cyclingsafety.ie
